  • Machined parts from desified Wood or pressboard HDLP / HDLC used as the lower support for the windings or as pressure rings at the top of the windings. They can be manufactured in a single ring or as segments of a circle, glued and using fixing pins.
    Insulation Cylinders
  • Pressboard plates already formed in a cylindrical shape, used for insulation between the windings in transformers and reactors. Supplied ready to be used in the winding shop.
    Insulation Cylinders with Strips
  • Pressboard plates already formed in a cylindrical shape and having the required quantity and spacing of strips glued in internal and / or external side. Used for insulation between the windings in transformers and reactors. Supplied ready to be used in the winding shop.
    Radial spacers
  • Spacers for the axial support between discs of a winding. Machined according specific drawing and geometry, having no sharp edges or burrs.

    Using as raw material the very high quality insulating material of its portfolio, Isoletri converts and machines parts and components according the design of its customers, applying the years of experience for supporting the material selection and offering solutions read for application in the production line of our customers, according the “insulation kit” concept. For example:
    • Supplying the insulation cylinders read, having the strips glued and the axial spacers already inserted in the strips.

    Sealing Systems
  • Larger contact areas grants a efficient barrier against defects at the sealing surfaces of flanges, that can be the reason for leakages. The distortion, non paralelism of the surfaces and surface defects can result in variations of the compression of the sealing element, overpressing one region and low pressing in other. For the Cork Composites, the main advantage is the distance between the crushing loading and the working loading, granting a good sealing even for “non-ideal” conditions.

  • Composite of a nitrilic rubber (NBR) matrix and cork as reinforcement. Material most commonly used for general sealing, as a flat joint. It has upper hardness (75 Shore A). Sealing from 5.5MPa and max compression of 20MPa. Operating temperature from -30°C to +125°C.

  • NBR + Cork
  • Composite of a nitrilic rubber (NBR) matrix and cork as reinforcement. Material of lower density and hardness, indicated for lower compression and temperature applications. Lower hardness (65 Shore A). Sealing from 2.5MPa and max compression of 15MPa. Operating temperature from -40°C to +125°C.

  • Composite of a nitrilic rubber (NBR) matrix and cork as reinforcement. Material with very good compression resistance and superior elongation (100%). Medium hardness (70 Shore A). Sealing from 3MPa and max compression of 15MPa. Operating temperature from -30°C to +125°C.

  • Composite of a nitrilic rubber (NBR) matrix and cork as reinforcement. Material for lower temperatures and large range of compression. Medium hardness (70 Shore A). Sealing from 3MPa and max compression of 20MPa. Operating temperature from -50°C to +110°C.
    TD3510
  • EPDM + Cork
  • Composite of a EPDM matrix and cork as reinforcement. Material indicated for using in SF6 systems, having excellent elongation (230%). Lower hardness (65 Shore A). Sealing from 3MPa and max compression of 12MPa. Operating temperature from -60°C to +130°C.
    TD7000
  • VMQ + Cork
  • Composite of Silicone (VMQ) matrix and cork as reinforcement. Material indicated for systems using Natural or Syntetic Esters as dielectric, specially due to the higher operation temperature (175C). Medium hardness (70 Shore A) and good elongation (100%). Sealing from 2.5MPa and max compression of 12MPa. Operating temperature from -60°C to +175°C.
    TD7110
  • NBR/ECO + Cork
  • Composite of nitrilic rubber (NBR) and epicloridina (ECO) matrix and cork as reinforcement. Material indicated for use in oil in general, having higher tensile stress as a differential. High hardness (75 Shore A) and low elongation (35%). Sealing from 4MPa and max compression of 20MPa. Operating temperature from -35°C to +135°C.

    Vibration absorption systems
  • The system of closed cell of cork, combined with the properties of rubber in a special formulation gives to the material a characteristic higher energy dissipation, which is the essence of vibration damping. In transformers electromagnetic phenomenon is intrinsic to the core, creating vibration. The use of a damping system that promotes the insulation of vibration preventing their transmission to the tank and hence to the environment, is an effective way of reducing the total noise of the device.
    VC2100
  • NBR + Cork
  • Developed for use in contact with insulating oil, has been used for insulation between the active and the tank / transformer cover. With low density, has a working range of working under compression from 0.5MPa and 1.5MPa, having a maximum loading of 2MPa. It can be applied in the temperature range from -40°C to +125°C.
    VC6400
  • NBR + Cork
  • It is similar to VC2100, but designed for exposure to the environment (additive anti UV / ozone gas). It is usually applied as a support between the transformer and the ground or between the transformer and its installation basement. The mechanical characteristics are the same and can be applied in the temperature range from -30°C to +110°C.
    VC7000
  • VMQ + Cork
  • This material is an option designed especially for dry or encapsulated transformers. It is usually installed between the supports and the encapsulated windings and between the core and its supports. It has much higher mechanical strength, working in the range of 1 MPa and 6MPa compression, with maximum load at 10MPa.
